(Studio) Eulogies for late Senator Hubert Humphrey by President Carter and Vice President Mondale at memorial services in Washington, DC noted. Humphrey's body later flown back to Minnesota.

(No location given) Report on Washington, DC service. Those attending include Mrs. Humphrey, Carter, Mondale, Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Nelson Rockefeller and Mrs. Lyndon Johnson. Service held at Capitol; music provided by trio led by violinist Isaac Stern. [MONDALE - eulogizes Humphrey.] [CARTER - eulogizes Humphrey.] Mrs. Humphrey's request to singer Robert Merrill to lead audience in chorus of "America the Beautiful" noted. [MERRILL - asks audience to join in. ]

(Saint Paul, Minnesota) Report on return of Humphrey's body to Minnesota, accompanied by Mrs. Humphrey and Vice President and Mrs. Mondale. Body taken to Bloomington, Minnesota, funeral home; burial to be in Minneapolis. Plans for body to lie in state at Minnesota capitol in Saint Paul noted.
